Knickers knickers knickers - Badjelly is back

Spike Milligan’s Badjelly The Witch On Stage in September

Knickers knickers knickers – Badjelly the Witch is back!

Cheer at Tim and Rose, laugh at Dinglemouse and boo at Badjelly – Spike Milligan’s children’s favourite Badjelly The Witch is on stage during the September school holidays.

Adapted by Tim Bray for this season, Badjelly The Witch is at The PumpHouse, Takapuna from Monday 27 September to Saturday 9 October with a special gala opening on Saturday 25 September at 4pm.

Badjelly The Witch has long been a favourite among children and tells the story of Tim and Rose’s adventures in search of their pet cow Lucy with wonderful characters including Dinglemouse, Mud-wiggle and Binkle-Bonk and, of course Badjelly herself!

Directed by Tim Bray, this production stars Julian Wilson as Badjelly, Donogh Rees as Mummy, Jonny Hair as Tim, Chloe Lewer as Rose, with Regan Taylor, Rutene Spooner and Courtney Chittenden playing support roles and musician Rupert Grobben.

Children are encouraged to dress up as their favourite character and join an onstage parade to show off their costumes.

Badjelly The Witch is at The PumpHouse, Killarney Park, Takapuna, Auckland from 27 September to 9 October at 10.30am and 1pm daily with a special gala opening on Saturday 25 September at 4pm. No show on Sundays. To book, phone (09) 489 8360 or online at target="_blank">www.pumphouse.co.nz. For more information on Tim Bray Productions visit www.timbrayproductions.co.nz
