MEDIA RELEASE

September 2010

September School Holiday Fun up the Sky Tower: Create Your Own Tee!

Kids will be stepping out in style these school holidays after a trip up Auckland’s Sky Tower for some t-shirt designing fun! These school holidays (25 September – 10 October), from 10am – 3pm, children (aged up to 14 years of age) are in for a treat in their favourite school holidays destination.*

The excitement begins when children enter the tower and are presented with a free plain white t-shirt to take with them on their trip up to a t-shirt decorating paradise. The Sky Tower’s Main Observation Level and Sky Lounge café is being transformed with six different stations loaded with fun items for creating their design including glitter, assorted stamps, pens, paint and stickers

Upon creating their fashion masterpiece, the journey continues to the Sky Deck where kids can model their new fashion item in a photo shoot. Taking home their free magazine-style cover photo will be sure to put a smile on their face!

Fun continues at the end of the journey at the Sky Tower Gift Shop, where kids can enter the draw to win one of five Sky Tower Annual Family Passes! Winners will be announced at the end of the school holidays.

To add to the fun is the launch of the new Scotty Sky Tower Colouring book; at an introductory price of $6 plus free colouring pencil pack with every purchase (while stocks last).

*The Sky Tower is offering one child to go free with every full paying adult.

Discounted parking is available.
