TrinityRoots go live with their new website

TrinityRoots go live with their new website
as impending album and reissues of their revered catalogue
prepare to launch on Monday September the 6th.

TrinityRoots brand new website launched this morning at www.trinityroots.co.nz in the nick of time for the September the 6th launch of Music Is Choice – a CD and DVD package that captures the essence of TrinityRoots through live recordings, interviews and an in-depth behind the scenes look at one of this country’s finest bands.  The website offers the first online taste of Music Is Choice with an edit of the now classic New Zealand track, Little Things. Alongside this release the acclaimed TrinityRoots back catalogue of work is being re-issued. 2004’s Home Land and Sea is repackaged with bonus tracks ‘Touches Me live’ and ‘Way I feel live’ and 2002’s True gives us ‘Sense & Cents live’. The band’s first release, their E.P. which features the original version of the much loved Little Things, is coming with beautiful new artwork.

TrinityRoots comprised of three of New Zealand’s most acclaimed artists – Warren Maxwell (lead vocals/guitars/keys), Rio Hunuki-Hemopo (bass/vocals) and Riki Gooch (drums/vocals)– who together embodied the New Zealand groove that was ground breaking in Aotearoa’s roots scene.

During their 7 years together, TrinityRoots created a large and loyal fan base through hypnotic live performances which included evocative rhythms and harmonies steeped in a lineage of soul, reggae and roots that transcend the boundaries defined by genre. Their two Long Player albums  - True (2002) and Home, Land and Sea (2004), reached Platinum status in New Zealand, a major achievement after virtually no advertising or commercial attention, and an inspiration for all independent artists in NZ.
