Celebrating its third year as the official hotel sponsor, The Westin kicked off NZ Fashion Week in style on Tuesday, hosting the event’s tenth birthday The stage is now set to welcome the world’s leading fashion names as well as New Zealand’s top designers and emerging style icons.
Located in the heart of the viaduct, just a stone’s throw from NZ Fashion Week headquarters, the Westin Auckland will once again set fashion headlines ablaze with its not-to-be missed events. The hotel is set to transform into a fashion mecca with designers, buyers and media filling its corridors and indulging in the themed bars and restaurants.
The Westin’s Q Restaurant is the perfect waterfront location to satisfy your pre-show hunger or your post-show indulgence. The stylish Q box will be the lunch of choice during NZ Fashion Week – Q’s unique and modern take on the bento box with entrée, main, dessert and a side for only $20.
The fabulous retro Office Bar is the hottest waterfront bar in town and the designer, celebrity and fashionista hub. It is the top spot for a refreshing drink and pre-show bite, or to celebrate the night away after a successful show. For the month of September, the Office will be offering a glass of Moët et Chandon for only $15 with the chance to win fantastic prizes..
Since it’s opening in 2007 the Westin Auckland  has hosted numerous off-site fashion shows and exclusive after-parties as well as other high-profile events such as Urbis Design Day in 2009. It is the venue to see and be seen and has proven itself once again to be Auckland’s number one luxury destination.
