All Finals Matches of Fifa World Cup Live on TVOne

All Finals Matches of Fifa World Cup Live on Tv One

TV ONE is screening all the finals matches live and in HD starting with the first semi-final tomorrow morning between The Netherlands and Uruguay

It’s the business end of the tournament and TV ONE’s Martin Devlin doesn’t believe he’s over selling it when he says, “you’re about to see the best players on the planet playing for the greatest prize of all”.

Build-up for the semi-finals starts at 5:30am tomorrow and on Thursday morning for the heavy weight semi-final between Germany and Spain.

Once the two finalists are found, they’re given a couple of days off while the two losers play-off for 3rd and 4th place. TV ONE also screens the play-off LIVE on Sunday morning at 6:30am.

TV ONE begins broadcasting early on Monday as we build up to the big one – the FIFA World Cup Final LIVE from South Africa. Over 700 million people around the world tuned in for the 2006 final between Italy and France and it’s estimated even more will watch this one.

Devlin will be joined in TV ONE’s purpose built FIFA World Cup studio by special guests former All Whites Steve Sumner and Noah Hickey with coverage of the closing ceremony from Johannesburg starting at 5am.

Kick-off is scheduled for 6:30am and Devlin can’t wait, “If we’re lucky in this small window of 90 minutes we’ll get to see the good become great and the great become legends”.
