NZ Music Poster Boy Dane Rumble To Rock ForAPN Outdoor


New Zealand, May 13, 2010: APN Outdoor has brought together NZ Album chart topper Dane Rumble along with rising artists Artisan Guns, AutoZamm and Lisa Crawley to perform at an exclusive concert for 250 clients and business partners.

The concert marks the launch of “Friends in High Places”, APN Outdoor’s new networking program for clients and business partners. Access will be by invitation only, with invites currently scheduled for send out May 17, 2010.
Phil Clemas, General Manager, APN Outdoor New Zealand said:

“The “Friends in High Places”concept refers to the geography of our billboards and their unique ability to offer the highest possible reach for our clients”.
“This new series of events is a way to bring together all of our business partners to continue to build our relationships and expand networking opportunities for them, under the banner of creativity. Advertising, like music is a creative field with some of the most artistic people in the world. So, it seemed a natural fit to call on some of our “friends in high places” to share their creativeness with a likeminded community”.

The concert will be held on June 3, 2010 at iconic Auckland venue Studio, home to New Zealand’s live entertainment scene. The event kicks off with a red carpet call at 6pm. Guests will have a rare chance to meet and take photos with the nights’ performers.

Headlining the event is music sensation Dane Rumble, also known for his time with international hip hop outfit Fast Crew. Dane who writes and produces his own songs recently topped the NZ Album Charts with his debut solo album ‘The Experiment’.

Guests will also be treated to the sounds of Auckland born rockers and one of New Zealand’s finest live acts AutoZamm, rising four piece alternative pop band Artisan Guns, and singer/songwriter/multi instrumentalist Lisa Crawley. Lisa who is busy working on her anticipated debut album recently wowed crowds opening for John Mayer during his NZ tour.

All attendees will receive a personalised “Friends in High Places” membership card, giving them access to future events. The card will also reward members over the year with various APN Outdoor partnership privileges, such as free music downloads, exclusive club access, flight discounts and more.

As the event draws near APN Outdoor will release more information regarding the night, invitees, MC, limited ticket giveaways and live acts via twitterhashtag (#FIHP). Post event images and videos will be found on Facebookand YouTube.
