Parachute Band launch new website!
Auckland, NZ, 12 May 2010 – Parachute Band have just launched a brand new website, for friends and fans wanting to keep up-to-date with the globally trekking worship band.
Two months in the making, the new site features: news bulletins, videos, personal blogs, tour dates, live Twitter feeds, their bio and discography, merchandise, a booking request form, photos, and info about the band’s work with World Vision.
Parachute’s Artist Department Manager Sandra Kalnina says, “We started planning this website more than a year ago, so we’re thrilled that it’s finally come to completion.”
Parachute Band have already had a busy year; after performing at Parachute 2010 they headed straight into the studio to record new tracks for their forthcoming album. The band then departed for an eight week U.S. tour on March 15.
This tour saw Parachute Band play as Martin Smith’s official backing band at Joyce Meyer conferences, and lead worship in Virginia Beach, Georgia, Florida, New York, Tennesse, Washington and California.
The band say a major highlight was recording Smith’s vocals on their new song ‘It’s You’, which will be released on the upcoming album.
And, to celebrate the launch of their new website, Parachute Band are offering a remixed version of ‘It’s You’ for free download on the site. The electro remix was made by Parachute Band producer Sam de Jong
Their new album is due for release later this year, but in the meantime you can get your complete Parachute Band fix right here on the official website.
