MTV’S NZ Super Sweet 16 Party Winner Announced

For the last three years, MTV and Clean and Clear have been making Super Sweet 16 dreams come true, celebrating their Super Sweet 16 with an amazing party for all of their closest friends – MTV style! Whittled down to five lucky finalists from thousands of entries, this year viewers were invited to vote for who they thought deserved the ultimate Sweet 16 Birthday Bash. After tallying up the votes, we have our winner!

The Super Sweet 16 New Zealand winners for 2010 are triplets Kailee, Chantelle and Alesha Judd from New Plymouth Girls High! Their dream Sweet 16 ultimate birthday bash will be coming true thanks to MTV and Clean and Clear!
“Our screams were heard throughout the neighborhood as our excitement took over when we were told that we had won our very own Super Sweet 16 Party! We are all so excited and cannot wait for this once-in-a-lifetime experience! The planning has already begun and we have decided our theme is Las Vegas. We are looking forward to this amazing party and to being able to share this with all of our friends and family!” said Alesha Judd, winner, MTV’s My Super Sweet 16 NZ.

The triplets worked hard campaigning to gain votes throughout the New Plymouth region by doing poster runs, flyer drops, getting ‘Vote for Judd Triplets’ campaign t-shirts made, appearing in local newspapers and hanging a huge banner at the New Plymouth shopping mall. The Triplets even convinced their mother to drive to Auckland in the middle of campaign in the hope that Justin Bieber would support them. They also constantly used Twitter, Facebook and Youtube as tools to gain votes and communicate with voters.

Philippa Jackson, Associate brand Manager, Clean & Clear NZ said, "Overall we have had a really good response. All five finalists had innovative campaigning ideas and a lot of support from friends & family. This will be a party the Judd triplet's will never forget and we are pleased that Clean & Clear can be a part of it".

The triplets will not only have the birthday party of their dreams, they’ll also be able to share the experience with the rest of New Zealand in a unique locally produced NZ Super Sweet 16 episode. Tune in for the première of NZ’s My Super Sweet 16 2010, Monday, June 21 @ 7.30pm, only on MTV.
My Super Sweet 16 is an international MTV series that takes viewers on a wild ride behind the scenes for all the drama, surprises and over-the-top fun as teens prepare for their most important coming-of-age celebration. The series gives viewers an up close and very personal look at the extravagant and sometimes extreme measures teens take to ensure that this milestone in their lives is commemorated by the ultimate celebration.
