Celebrity Waiters Dinner offers you the dining experience of
your dreams with over 20 famous faces vying to be your
dinner date.
Held on Friday 21 May at The Hyatt, Auckland, the Celebrity Waiters Dinner will be serving up a fabulous evening of entertainment, fine dining and impromptu performances from New Zealand’s finest actors, singers, sporting heroes, media personalities and politicians.
The event has drawn huge support from a range of stars including Monty Betham, Jayne Kiely, Candy Lane, Angela Bloomfield, Fleur Saville, Harry McNaughton, Aaron Gilmore, Shane Cortese, Paul Ego, Alison Roe, Paula Bennett and Rodney Hide.
Singing sensation LA Mitchell, who has opened for Stevie Wonder and supported Dave Dobbyn during his European tour, will be entertaining guests on the night with her powerful voice and moving mix of jazz and soul.
Dress for Success Auckland is a charity that supports women in economically difficult circumstances make the transition back into the workforce by providing them with free, high quality clothing and presentation advice for job interviews and training.
Julie Mackey, Executive Manager of Dress for Success Auckland, says the event is a key fundraiser for the organisation and allows it to continue with its vital work in the community.
“Proceeds raised from the Celebrity Waiters Dinner go directly to aiding the women in need who walk through our doors for assistance and allows us to continue to grow our services so we can reach even more women,” says Julie.
“By attending the Celebrity Waiters Dinner, you will be supporting a Kiwi woman in securing a new career and brighter future, as well enjoying a fantastic, star-studded night out.”
On the evening fashionistas will also have the chance to get their hands on a new frock during the Little Black Dress auction which showcases a selection of new season and one off creations by top New Zealand designers including Annah Stretton, Liz Mitchell, Stitch Ministry, Jane Daniels and Trelise Cooper.
