Lotto Boost to Bank Accounts in Waitakere and Hokitika
Two lucky players in Waitakere and Hokitika will be celebrating the boost to their bank accounts having won $500,000
each on Lotto First Division tonight, says NZ Lotteries’ Chief Executive, Todd McLeay.
The winning tickets were sold at Hobsonville Superette and Lotto in Waitakere and Hokitika New World in Hokitika.
“Our winners may want to plan an extended summer holiday or buy their dream house,” says Mr McLeay.
Powerball First Division was not struck tonight, so the jackpot for next weekend will be worth an estimated $4 million.
Strike Four was also not struck tonight and will jackpot to $200,000 for next week’s draw.
Tonight’s other big winner was Kaiapoi grandfather, Dennis Adair, who won $300,000 on Lotto’s Winning Wheel.
All Lotto players are automatically in the draw to win the opportunity to spin Lotto’s Winning Wheel, regardless of the
type of ticket they buy. Players can check their ticket at any lottery outlet.
Tonight’s Winning Wheel ticket was sold at Whitcoulls Auckland International in Manukau, the serial number is
642-50072584-20XX.
“Anyone who bought a ticket at these retailers should write their name on the back of the ticket and check it as soon as
possible at any NZ Lotteries’ outlet," Todd McLeay says.
