Thousands of songs on Fly Buys Music
Loyalty New Zealand, the operator of Fly Buys, now has 280,000 songs available to download on Fly Buys Music, after signing a contract with Universal Music New Zealand.
Loyalty New Zealand Head of Marketing and Product Development Chris Lamers says, “Lots of our 2.2 million Fly Buys card holders love to turn their Fly Buys Points into music. We’re seeing music downloads grow in popularity as rewards.
“65% of all music is now available on Fly Buys Music, including artists from two of the main music industry players, Sony and Universal.
“Music is an important part of summer. I’m thrilled members can download a wider selection of tracks using their Fly Buys Points to make that road trip, or barbeque even more memorable.”
Adam Holt, Managing Director for Universal Music New Zealand, explains the label is delighted to be part of Fly Buys Music.
“This is an excellent way to redeem valuable Fly Buys Points, and a fresh and innovative way to access music from the world’s greatest artists. Fly Buys Music gives their Members easy access to a fantastic catalogue of digital music, something which is great for our artists and great for New Zealand consumers.
Artists on Universal Music include Lady Gaga, Lil Wayne, Eminem, The Black Eyed Peas, U2 and Owl City. From our shores it includes Elemenop, The Exponents, Boh Runga, Gin Wigmore, Smashproof, Hayley Westenra and Savage.

Fly Buys Points. Vouchers are valid for a year from redemption and can also be used as gifts. The voucher is emailed directly with a link to flybuysmusic.co.nz to begin downloading.
When you've added the songs you'd like to your cart, click Download. The music is DRM-free in MP3 format, encoded at MP3 256 Kbps or higher, so it’s very close to CD quality, and compatible with almost all portable players and devices including iPods.
