Bingo With Balls
Bogan Bingo hits the New Zealand Fringe Festival this February with a four date season at The Office Bar in Newtown. On Friday 19th and Saturday 20th and Friday 26th and Saturday 27th at 7pm Fringe goers will experience Bingo like never before.
So what is Bogan Bingo? Apart from being the worlds first ever rock and roll bingo super group, Bogan Bingo is a comedy game show that provides a hilarious night of frivolity.
Bogan Bingo is the perfect mix of comedy, music and crowd interaction. If you like the idea of your friends making a fool of themselves as they play air guitar to “Sweet Child Of Mine”,
Bogan Bingo may just be the night for you.
Hotel So be ready to rock out to all your favourite old school rock songs and join in the altered version of all the traditional Bingo calls that we’ve come to know or um… forget.
More than your usual trivia night or Karaoke show, the evening includes air guitar competitions that allow the punters the chance to win free drinks, tins of spam, rubber chickens and cheap porn!
Wellington events company infinite ingenuity has brought Bogan Bingo across from Australia after Director Claire Medcalf discovered the event on a trip to Australia. “The event was a scream! I thought, ‘wow this would work in NZ’ and approached them to discuss it”.
Participants are encouraged to drag out their ‘spray on peel off jeans’ and Guns and Roses shirts and come along dressed for the occasion.
