Fashion Event At Addington To Pick Best Dressed In Black And White For Waitangi Day
Addington race organisers are searching for the best dressed woman and man at their annual Waitangi Day event on February 6.
Leading New Zealand fashion event specialist Angela Stone will be organising the best dressed pair, in their black and white themed outfits. Stone runs all the major fashion events at Riccarton and Addington during Christchurch’s big Cup Week.
Addington chief executive Shane Gloury said fashion was a big part of any major race day and the ``black and white theme of Waitangi has a nice feel to it’’.
``It gives New Zealanders an opportunity to show off their parochial side and a chance to win some great prizes,’’ he said.
The feature race of the day is the $180,000 PGG Wrightson NZ Yearling Sales three year old fillies final.
