Quotes
Ross Gamble, Fashion Advisor.
“I’m overwhelmed by the number of entries for next year’s Emerging Designer Awards. The number of entries is well-up on previous years which will give the event the greatest diversity of international
emerging designers yet. It’s outstanding that the designers we’re attracting represent so many world-class design schools. We have an unbelievable selection of talent from these prestigious schools. There is no other event in New Zealand that shows such a high calibre of emerging fashion design talent. The eighteen overseas designers attending reflects this.”
Katie Newton, Fashion and Beauty Editor of the Sunday Star Times, Sunday Magazine
"I had a great time choosing the finalists for the Emerging Designer Awards and, once again, we have ended up with an excellent bunch of talented people from all over the world. The event is always one of
the highlights of the fashion calendar, and 2010 is shaping up to be another outstanding occasion."
