A Dedicated Fan Is Getting A Fly My Pretties Tattoo

First Special Guest Announced
Special Ticket/Accom Package For Southerners

As excited Fly My Pretties fans prepare for the last Encore Shows, one extremely dedicated man from Christchurch will be flying up to Auckland on Friday 30th October to get a large tattoo featuring the Fly My Pretties fantail and imagery across his lower back in honor of the shows! The tattoo will be filmed by Loop in time lapse and done by Karla Hansen at Streetwize in Newmarket from 10:30am.

Returning to New Zealand shores for the final Fly My Pretties - Encore Shows in December is the smooth and soulful Adi Dick.

Adi Dick is the first past Fly My Pretties member to be announced to join the full 17-piece A Story cast as a special guest for the Encore Shows

Adi Dick lay down the grooves in The Return of Fly My Pretties (2006) with the standout song ‘Get Out’ and also with ‘Foresight’. Adi Dick went on to release his debut solo album Our Place (2007), which featured his unique guitar looping techniques and gorgeous vocals. Since then Adi Dick has been plying his musical trade abroad in Europe and is looking forward to coming back to a beautiful Aotearoa summer. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uFaw3_3TYnU

The Fly My Pretties Encore Shows are shaping up to be huge! Audience members can expect to experience the full first half of A Story complete with everyone’s favourite narrator Dick Weir, and an extended second set of Fly My Pretties classics.

Featuring 20 plus cast: Barnaby Weir, Jarney Murphy, Mike Fabulous, Nigel Patterson (all The Black Seeds), Anna Coddington, Eva Prowse, L.A. Mitchell, Lisa Tomlins (Rhombus), Mara T.K (Electric Wire Hustle), Nato, Paul McLaney (Gramsci), Riki Gooch and Rio Hunuki-Hemopo (both TrinityRoots), Ryan Prebble, Tessa Rain and Tom Watson (Cassette). And of course, special guest Adi Dick and everyone's favourite narrator Dick Weir! More guests to be announced.

With a keen audience of 12,500 people throughout the May/June national tour and the next Fly My Pretties incarnation likely to be another couple of years away, don’t miss out on these last Encore Shows.
