$1 SCOOP weekend kicks off today
Fifteen top scoop outlets have been named 2009’s ice cream ‘high-rollers’ (see list below) and they join hundreds of neighbourhood dairies, ice cream parlours and food stores around the country who are getting ready to roll for $1 SCOOP this weekend. It’s an annual event run by ice cream scoop outlets, and supported by Tip Top, to celebrate the start of summer during Labour Weekend.
Each participating store nominates Saturday, Sunday or Monday of Labour Weekend to sell every scoop of Tip Top ice cream for just one dollar throughout the day. See www.tiptop.co.nz for the list of participating $1 SCOOP DAY outlets and their nominated $1 SCOOP DAY.
Tip Top’s newest SCOOP flavours this summer are Creamy Strawberry Yoghurt Ice Cream, Creamy Vanilla Yoghurt Ice Cream and Mint Cookie Smash Ice Cream.
