H
Lanvin & Fils Champagne can justifiably take the mantle of
the most consistently awarded Champagne in this country in
recent years.
Not content with a Gold Medal award at
the recent New Zealand International Wine Show, the fourth
in the last five years, Lanvin Champagne was judged worthy
of a Gold Medal and the converted Champion Champagne of the
show at the Liquorland Top 100.
Today, Vintage Wines
& Spirits is proud to announce Lanvin Champagne’s further
achievement, and perhaps crowning glory, as Cuisine
magazine’s No 1 Champagne under $100, awarded five stars
and Best Buy ranking in the upcoming Christmas
edition.
This success is also the third occasion in
the last four years that Lanvin Champagne has achieved
five-star and Best Buy status in Cuisine’s annual
Champagne tasting.
Said Cuisine panel chair, John
Belsham, “A near-perfect expression of Champagne, this
is
a sublime, very sophisticated wine.”
Nick Hern,
Managing Director of Vintage Wines & Spirits noted, ‘We
are pleased and honoured that Lanvin shows such consistent
quality, style and incredible value, that is obviously
recognised year after year by the best wine judges in the
country.
“Lanvin has achieved these prestigious
awards, judged against the best Grand Marque Champagnes in
the World.”
Mr Hern also noted that both Louis
Roederer Brut Premier NV and Cristal Vintage 2002 gave
further reason for celebration, gaining five stars and No 3
placings in Cuisine’s Under $100 and Over $100 categories
respectively.

Roederer and Cristal Champagnes are exclusively distributed
in New Zealand by Vintage Wines & Spirits Ltd.
