HOMESONG STORIES (SUNDAY FEATURE) – Sunday November 1 at 9.00 PM
The true story of Rose, a glamorous nightclub singer in 1970s Australia who struggles to survive with two young children. An epic tale of mothers and sons, unrequited love, betrayal and secrets. An autobiographical tale written and directed by Tony Ayres, starring Joan Chen.

MAY JUSTICE BE DONE (INTERNATIONAL DOCO) – Tuesday November 3 at 8.30 PM
A land of welcome for millions of European emigrants, Argentina used to be seen as rich country with modern agriculture, and a skilled and a well-off middle class. This documentary looks at how that all changed in the 1970s.

WARRANT OF FITNESS – Tuesday November 3 at 9.30 PM
Health information series from a Maori perspective, presented by Lance O’Sullivan and Dr Lily Fraser. Tonight: One south Auckland company is taking a positive approach to promote health and safety.

TE ARA PAI O NGA AO E RUA – BEST OF BOTH WORLDS (NZ DOCO) – Wednesday November 4 at 8.30 PM
The life and work of New Zealand ethnographer Elsdon Best, who was almost a legend among some iwi in his time. This documentary examines interviews, letters, manuscripts and newspapers to look at his work in the Tuhoe territory.

SHADOWS OF TIME (SATURDAY FEATURE) – Saturday November 7 at 9.00 PM
Full-blown romantic melodrama set in pre-Independence India. Ravi and Masha work as child labourers in a carpet factory, but Ravi knows the path to freedom is money. He pays for Masha to escape and later works his way to prosperity, but fate repeatedly intervenes to prevent the young lovers finding each other. A stylishly told story of love and regret spanned across 60 years. A German / India co-production.
