Join the stars
of Sione's Wedding, Shortland Street, Town, Outrageous
Fortune and more for a special screening of the Kiwi
blockbuster Sione's Wedding to raise money for those
affected by the recent tsunami in Samoa.
Oscar
Kightley, Robbie Magasiva, Teuila Blakely, Faye Smythe, Ido
Drent, Shane Cortese and Fleur Saville are just some of the
famous faces who will be attending the film this Saturday
October 10 at SKYCITY Cinemas St Lukes and
Manukau.
All proceeds from ticket sales and donations
at the event will go directly to the New Zealand Red Cross
for the Samoa Earthquake and Tsunami Appeal.
Robbie
Magasiva, one of the stars of Sione's Wedding and currently
playing Dr Maxwell Avia on Shortland Street, is inviting
everyone to come along to the special fundraiser screenings:
"On behalf of my fellow cast members m calling on all
Aucklanders to come along to this event to support the
rebuilding of my motherland. It'll be a fun night out and
100% of the money raised will go to this great
cause."
As well as meeting your favourite stars, South
Pacific Pictures, TVNZ, Firehorse Films and SKYCITY have
also donated fabulous prizes which will be raffled at the
event. These include movie tickets, DVD packs, TV2
merchandise and goodies from Town, Outrageous Fortune and
Shortland Street.
