Former Paul Colman Trio rocker returns to NZ

Grant Norsworthy, a former member of the popular Paul Coleman trio who wowed audiences earlier this decade, is touring the North Island with a series of free concerts from October 9 to 18 in support of TEAR Fund.

A Grammy nominated, and Dove award-winning musician, Norsworthy has worked with some of the most influential artists of our time, said TEAR Fund events manager Sarah Jefferies.

Having made a name for himself as a musician in Australia, he is based in Nashville, Tennessee where he lives with his Kiwi wife and son. While in the US, Grant has played bass for many bands including several years as bassist for the million-selling band, Sonicflood.

“Grant is not only a gifted musician and talented song-writer he is an engaging speaker. He has a vast experience of cultural diversity and a healthy fascination with ‘the human condition’,” said Ms Jefferies.

“With his relaxed style, sharp sense of humour and well-crafted songs, he is sure to have wide appeal and capture the hearts and imaginations of his audiences.”
