THE CUBAN BROTHERS – THREE HOT NIGHTS IN NZ
The Cuban Brothers, the UK’s most hilarious
music/dance act, are heading back down to New Zealand for
three hot nights of mayhem this November!
Kicking it all off in Dunedin, The Cuban Brothers will gyrate their way up the country with a show in Wellington before wrapping it all up in Auckland.
For the uninitiated, The Cuban Brothers’ legendary performances incorporate riotous comedy, jaw-droppingly brilliant breakdancing and great funk, hip hop and soul music.
The Cuban Brothers have wowed kiwi audiences before with feature performances at Splore 2006 and February’s Living Lounge as part of the 2009 Auckland Fringe Festival. Those who experienced their zany stage antics know this is a wild show not to be missed!
Described as “a seriously A-List act” by The Guardian newspaper (UK), The Cuban Brothers not only entertain at celebrity parties (hosts include Elton John, Richard Branson, Damien Hirst and Robbie Williams), they are UK and Australian festival favourites regularly playing main stages to 20,000+ audiences. To witness and survive a Cuban Brothers show is truly unforgettable.

Short bio:
The Cuban Brothers are totally
unique. Born of the loins of seventies Havana, nurtured on a
diet of soulful, sexy tunes and inspired by Cuban historical
fact and mythology – their fresh approach to live
entertainment whips up a frenzy at every gig. Their
legendary performance combines music, which evolves with
every show, riotous comedy, both hysterical and
observational, and sensational dancing – consequently the
energy at every show is incredible.
Taking it right back, The Cuban Brothers launched by storming UK clubland with their passionate attitude towards partying and performing. Their unique favour made nights out tasty again and their rise to fame has been meteoric. From stealing the main stage at Manumission to hosting the NME Awards The Cuban Brothers soon became the most desirable act to book for the coolest events. MTV were soon hot on their trail and in 2002 The Cuban Brothers started presenting music specials including festival coverage of Homelands and Creamfields, MTV in Ibiza and the MTV Music Awards.
