"Astonishingly beautiful"

Don't miss the opportunity to hear him perform the sublime Saint-Saëns Cello Concerto No.1 in a programme which also includes Bartók's dazzling Concerto for Orchestra, conducted by NZSO Music Director Pietari Inkinen.
Wellington (This Saturday 26 Sept)
Auckland (Sat 3 Oct)

Gautier also performs Richard Strauss' tone-poem Don Quixote, a masterwork for solo cello and orchestra. There's also an opportunity to hear two works from the Sibelius Festival - the magical Symphony No.2 and Tapiola, his most celebrated tone-poem. The Dominion Post dubbed last Friday's performance "magnificent"
