Sarah Jane Parton in conjunction with The Physics Room proudly present The Collection (II).

The Collection (I) took place on Nikao Beach, Rarotonga in August 2009. The second installment of this three-part series, The Collection (II) will take place as an art performance featuring music, children, video and plants at the Mona Vale Fernery from 11am–12pm on Sunday 20 September 2009.

How can it not know what it is? How nice—to feel nothing and still get full credit for being alive.

It calls back to a time when there were flowers all over the Earth… and there were valleys. And there were plains of tall green grass that you could lie down in—go to sleep in. And there were blue skies and there was fresh air… and there were things growing all over the place, not just in some domed enclosures blasted some millions of miles out into space. All those moments will be lost in time like tears in rain… Time to die. There is no renewal. There are no answers, only choices. People were better; the world was better. Do you begin to see, then, what kind of world we are creating? If these people would just play the game—there's no sense in getting killed by a plant.
