Media Release:  3 September 2009

$10 SKYCITY Movies For AA Members

The Automobile Association and SKYCITY Cinemas have teamed up to bring AA members $10 movies on Wednesdays

SKYCITY Cinemas will provide AA members with admission to a movie screening for a maximum of two people for $10 each at any time on any Wednesday, on presentation of their AA membership card. The movie offer is available at all SKYCITY and Rialto Cinemas in New Zealand, except the Rialto Cinema in Palmerston North.

AA Rewards spokesman Dougal Swift says “$10 AA Rewards Wednesday movies will provide AA members and their friends throughout New Zealand with savings of up to $5 per ticket, and it includes new movie releases.”

“To date the AA Rewards loyalty programme has delivered more than $60 million back to AA members. It is used by more than 86 percent of AA members and currently involves over 40 Partners. We are continuously improving and adding to AA Rewards, and today’s announcement confirms our place as one of New Zealand’s most successful loyalty programmes.”

The offer does not apply to Gold Class, Deluxe, 3D, Imax movie screenings, film festivals, special screenings and beyond film screenings (such as ballet, metropolitan opera, national theatre and any other non-traditional film presentations) and cannot be used in conjunction with any other promotion or offer and distributor exemptions may apply from time to time.
