SDNZ Event Director Ennaolla Paea says:
“The World Championships this year has been an eye opener for many of our dancers who are receiving much respect and support from the international dance community. Opportunities have been opened to tap into the main entertainment sector. I see New Zealand’s dancers developing further, to beyond the area of competition into more pathways of success, spring-boarding from this event into other international stages and opportunities. With the success of role models such as Sweet & Sour and ReQuest, our young performers can only be set for greatness ”
The Community of NZ Street Dance is putting things in place to give more opportunities for young people to develop their skills, abilities and aspirations.
