Gary Hewlett MNZIPP appointed NZIPP National Director of Portrait Photography
Love Images Ltd are delighted to announce that our founder, Gary Hewlett MNZIPP, has been appointed to the position of National Director of Portrait Photography for the New Zealand Institute of Professional Photography.
The appointment was confirmed at the AGM that took place in Wellington on Friday 21st August 2009, and takes effect from 1st September 2009. Gary will be responsible at board level for promoting and developing family portrait photography across New Zealand, and supporting both portrait photographers and their clients to ensure that the standard of service and product is as high as possible.
Gary is delighted with the appointment. "I am a passionate family portrait photographer, and the chance to contribute something positive to the industry that I love is too great an opportunity to miss. I hope to be able to develop the learning infrastructure in New Zealand for my colleagues, as well as promoting the NZIPP brand so that it is seen as a true mark of quality amongst our clients"
"The New Zealand Institute of Professional Photography (NZIPP) is the only qualifying body for professional photographers in New Zealand, and currently has over 350 members across NZ covering the disciplines of Wedding, Portrait and Commercial Photography. I want to get this message home to anyone looking for a portrait photographer - the NZIPP is the only mark of quality for photographers in New Zealand."
Gary is a Master of Photography with the NZIPP (MNZIPP), and runs Love Images Ltd, providing wedding and family portrait photography from his office in Meadowbank Auckland.
