With both guitars and the Wurlitzer stashed in the boot Miriam Clancy began her lo-fi tour of New Zealand mid July that has seen her in many of NZ’s smaller towns and outlying venues of our cities. Miriam will play some of the songs from her critically acclaimed debut, 'Lucky One' and from her upcoming sophomore album 'Magnetic'. The first single ‘When I Do’ is now available for download via the following link: http://www.amplifier.co.nz/track/48470/when-i-do.html

Since her first album Miriam has spent 2 years of travelling, writing and recording songs for ‘Magnetic’ both in New Zealand and America. She has opened for Ron Sexsmith and Wilco. Described as “New Zealand's answer to Martha Wainwright “ (Waikato Times) this is a great opportunity to see her in an intimate setting and hear the new songs and old favourites as they were written - stripped to their bare bones.
