Two Lotto Players Share Top Lotto First
Division Prize
Two Lotto players from Kawerau and Wellington have taken out Lotto’s First Division, with each of them winning a $508,824 prize tonight, says NZ Lotteries’ Chief Executive Todd McLeay.
“It’s a great time to be planning that long awaited summer holiday with this large boost to their bank accounts,” says Mr McLeay.
The winning tickets were sold at Smith City in Kawerau and Newlands Pharmacy in Wellington.
Lotto Powerball has jackpotted this week, and will be worth an estimated $11.5 million in next Saturday’s draw.
Three players shared the top Strike Four prize tonight, with tickets purchased at Woolworths in Feilding, Victoria Park New World in Auckland and Highland Park Paper Plus in Manukau. They each won $52,492.
Tonight’s other big winner was Auckland contractor Paul Bradley who spun and won a $100,000 shopping spree on Lotto’s Winning Wheel. On only his second trip to Wellington in 40 years, Paul was joined at the draw by his wife, Lynn.
All Lotto players are automatically in the draw to win the opportunity to spin Lotto’s Winning Wheel, regardless of the type of ticket they buy. Players can check their ticket at any lottery outlet.
Tonight’s Winning Wheel ticket was sold at Kelston Copy and Lotto in Glen Eden, Waitakere. The serial number is 447-50858516-20XX.
“Anyone who bought a
ticket at these retailers should write their name on the
back of the ticket and check it as soon as possible at any
NZ Lotteries’
outlet."
