NCWNZ Congratulates National Life
Members
The National Council of Women of New Zealand (NCWNZ) congratulates the seventy-two New Zealanders who have recently accepted knighthoods, in particular the NCWNZ National Life Members Dame Alison Roxburgh, Dame Jocelyn Fish, and Dame Grace Hollander.
“These women are an inspiration to us all,” says Elizabeth Bang, NCWNZ National President. “We are so grateful for all the work they have done and will continue to do in the future.”
NCWNZ would also like to congratulate Dame Margaret Sparrow, Dame Claudia Orange, Dame Margaret Millard and Dame Margaret Shields, who have supported and worked alongside the Council in various capacities.
NCWNZ National Life Members are women who have served the Council and the wider community to the most extraordinary level, locally, nationally and internationally.
The current National Life Members are Dame Alison Roxburgh, Dame Jocelyn Fish, and Dame Grace Hollander Ailsa Bailey, Dame Vivienne Boyd, Dame Miriam Dell, Janet Hesketh, Dawn Ibbotson, Dame Laurie Salas, Dame Dorothy Winstone, Ruth Wylie.
