Lotto First Division Dreams Come True In Tauranga and Hamilton
Lotto First Division dreams have come true for two players in Tauranga and Hamilton after winning $500,000 each in tonight’s Lotto draw, says NZ Lotteries’ Chief Executive Todd McLeay.
The winning tickets were sold at Brookfield New World in Tauranga and City Mart in Hamilton.
“It’s been quite a week at the ‘Dream Factory’ that is NZ Lotteries and it’s fantastic to be able to make more New Zealander’s dreams true with these Lotto First Division prizes,” says Mr McLeay.
Lotto Powerball has jackpotted this week, and will be worth an estimated $5 million in next Saturday’s draw.
A Strike Four prize of $271,562 has been shared tonight by two players who purchased their tickets from Girven Road Micro Mart in Mount Maunganui and Elles Road New World in Invercargill. Each winner is now $135,781 richer.
Tonight’s other big winner was Timoti Matiu from West Auckland, who spun and won $250,000 on Lotto’s Winning Wheel.
All Lotto players are automatically in the draw to win the opportunity to spin Lotto’s Winning Wheel, regardless of the type of ticket they buy. Players can check their ticket at any lottery outlet.
Tonight’s Winning Wheel ticket was sold at
Video Ezy Torbay in North Shore City. The serial number is

“Anyone who bought a ticket at these retailers should write their name on the back of the ticket and check it as soon as possible at any NZ Lotteries’ outlet," Mr McLeay says.
