After opening with a spiritual message by
Pastor Tuakana Pere from the Melbourne Seventh Day Adventist
Church, Monday’s programme will feature guest Dr. Teariki
Maoate joining host Ina Tekeu to discuss health issues. On
Tuesday’s programme Terongo Tekii will be focusing on
Diabetes. On Wednesday Maui Maui, Dan Kauraka and Papa
Orometua Te Pouao will host a spiritual and talkback show.
Thursday’s programme features an interview with Stuart
Wheeler, owner of Guardian Funeral Home in Porirua, who will
be giving advice and answering questions on funeral matters.
Friday’s hosts will be taking song requests for anyone
celebrating an anniversary, birthday or who wants to request
a song to a friend or relative - listen in and call the
station with your special requests.

Yolanda and Jen
talk exclusively with ‘kai kemist’ Dobie Blaze from Fat
Freddy’s Drop who shares the secret ingredients of his
delicious paua wontons, as well as the behind the scenes in
the making of their latest #1 album Dr. Boondiga and the Big
BW. Hear from award winning actor and poet Michelle Amas
and The Clean House, the latest production she stars in to
open at Circa. Yolanda also caught up with some unfrozen
locals who took part in Wellington’s Big Freeze on World
Environment Day, and Jen and Yolanda have a double pass to
give away to one of the hottest concerts in town – Fly My
Pretties. Fly My Pretties is New Zealand's favourite live
multimedia event led by Barnaby Weir and stars a selection
of NZ’s finest contemporary musicians including Anna
Coddington, Riki Gooch, L.A. Mitchell, Lisa Tomlins, and Tom
Watson just to name a few. Be sure to listen for your

programme looks into the Mapuches in South America, poetry
and music. The Mapuches in Resistance: the hunger strike and

Chile will provide declarations and music.
News from
Latin America: Peru’s repression against indigenous
people, and more, the report from the Cauca Colombiano, and
Ecuador’s government of Rafael Correa. Also Wellington
current affairs in the latino community.
