It may be June but New Zealand Music Month lives on! Tune in to Monday’s Community Zone with Yolanda and Jen for one
final chance to hear breath-taking acoustic sets from local artists Ryan Prebble and The Wellington International
Ukulele Orchestra, recorded live and exclusive in the studio. Hear from the Phoenix Foundation as Yolanda catches up
with Samuel Flynn Scott and Luke Buda and find out what they have to say about being the most-voted-for band on the
Wellington Access Radio's Mixtape. Plus Carrie Hunter from Kiwi By Proxy chats about her U.S. based online radio
programme for New Zealand music. And did you switch your lights off for Earth Hour earlier this year? This Wednesday,
Thorndon School is helping WWF reveal the number of New Zealanders who took part in Earth Hour, at a very special event
at Parliament. Yolanda and Jen talk to the students and teachers at this Enviroschool and find out how they are making
the whole city their
classroom.
