Michael Lett is pleased to present 0 K, a group exhibition featuring work by Hany Armanious, The Estate of L. Budd, Julian Daspher, Richard Frater, Patrick Lundberg and Campbell Patterson.

Hany Armanious was born in Egypt and currently lives and works in Sydney. Recent solo projects include: Uncanny Valley, Roslyn Oxley9 Gallery, Sydney; The Oracle, Contemporary Art Museum St Louis, St Louis; Year of the Pig Sty, Michael Lett, Auckland and Foxy Production, New York; Selflok, UCLA Hammer Museum, Los Angeles and Ian Potter Museum, Melbourne. Armanious has participated in the 1992 Sydney Biennale, the 1993 Venice Biennale and the 1995 Johannesburg Biennale.

L. Budd was active c. 1990 – 2000.

Julian Daspher has been exhibiting extensively, both in New Zealand and internationally, since 1980. In 2008 Dashper staged solo exhibitions at: Sue Crockford Gallery, Auckland; The Suburban, Chicago; CCNOA, Brussels; Sebastian Fath Contemporary, Mannheim; and participated in the group exhibition, curated by Phong Buiof, surveying the last 5 years of Minus Space at PS1, New York. In 2001 Dashper was awarded a senior Fulbright Fellowship to be based as an artist in residence at the Chinati Foundation in Marfa, Texas. Julian Daspher appears with thanks to Sue Crockford.

Richard Frater was born in Auckland in 1984 and graduated from Elam School of Fine Arts postgraduate program in 2006. Recent exhibitions include: So Long the Difficulties of Being Single, Newcall Gallery, Auckland; Architecture for the Nation, Artspace, Auckland; and Vincent Grocery, Enjoy Public Art Gallery, Wellington. Frater is a founding member of the Auckland artist-run space A Center for Art.

Patrick Lundberg was born in Stockholm in 1984 and currently lives and works in Auckland. Recent exhibitions include: On the Wall/ CirkulationsCentralen, Malmö, Sweden; Sleep by Windows, Snowhite, Auckland; Artist’s Projects, Te Tuhi Centre for the Arts, Manukau City. Lundberg is a founding member of the Auckland artist-run space A Center for Art.

Campbell Patterson was born in Portsmith and currently lives and works in Auckland. Recent solo projects include Ambient 3, Newcall Gallery, Auckland and Work and Exercise, Michael Lett, Auckland. Later in 2009 Patterson will participate in the Asia Pacific Triennial, Queensland Gallery of Art, Brisbane.
