Auckland Theatre Company Oliver! boys’ roles open auditions

Auckland Theatre Company is looking for talented boys to play Oliver, the Artful Dodger and Fagin’s Gang in their end of year musical OLIVER! directed by Raymond Hawthorne. The season plays at SKYCITY Theatre from October 29.

Open auditions will take place on Saturday 23 and Sunday 24 May.

Like New Zealand Idol but for small Dickensian workhouse boys with great voices, the open auditions welcome all comers.

The company will cast boys aged 10 – 14 years in this professional production.

The company is ideally looking for unbroken voices but all boys in this age range who are confident singers and performers and preferably with some stage experience will be able to audition.

People who are interested in auditioning should contact Auckland Theatre Company’s Education and Creative Development Manager, Lynne Cardy, to receive an AUDITION INFORMATION PACK,lynne@atc.co.nz.
