Happy New Zealand Music Month! All this month on Community Zone we’ll be talking to local musos and asking them to tell
us their top track by a fellow Wellington band or musician. Then at the end of the month listeners can help us select
the top tracks to be played on a special, hour long ‘Wellington Mixtape’ programme.

Niuean Community Programme (Niuean) : Sat 7-8.30pm
Fostering and promoting aspects of the Niuean culture, language and traditions.
This week’s programme will focus on promoting awareness of illnessess experienced by those in the Niuean community
whilst living, working and studying in New Zealand. There will also be discussion relating to questions of renting,
tenancy agreement , tennants and landlords' responsibilities, following on from last week’s interview with Mr Mene
Setefano, Pacific National Advisor of the Department of Building and Housing.

Like Minds is a fun, informative show on issues relating to mental health. This week features an interview with Dr
Heather Barnett, Senior Researcher at the Mental Health Foundation, who will be talking about upcoming research on
families and whanau of people with experience of mental health issues. There’ll also be the latest select tunes from
resident muso, Matt Hall.
Music Ad Lib (English) : Sat 4:30-5pm, Every 4 Weeks NEXT SHOW MAY 16
A veritable institution on Wellington Access Radio, Music Ad Lib has been hosted by a rotation of enthusiastic
Wellington City Library staff members since 1987. Offering something new and different every week, the hosts are able to
chose from the Libraries staggering music collection, which totals almost 30,000 cds. This months programme will be
concentrating on pop-punk; Southern Californian punk sounds from the early 80's right through to 2009.

Lesbian Community Radio (English) : Sun 10-11am
On this week’s programme Cathie and Andy are joined by Phil and Barb, who are involved with the exciting, forthcoming
lesbian and gay film festival: Outtakes. They will focus on the lesbian oriented films from the programme, and find out
about the Lesbian Gala at the end of May which features the film The World Unseen.
