The Lion Foundation – supporting Relationship Services
Relationship Services – supporting Kiwi communities
Relationship Services Incorporated, New Zealand’s largest provider of counselling services, has received a much needed boost thanks to The Lion Foundation.
A recent grant from The Lion Foundation has assisted the organisation with important information technology and communication equipment in Tauranga, Whakatane and Gisborne.
Jeff Sanders, Relationship Services Chief Executive says the computers will enhance the service the not for profit organisation provides.
“Thanks to the generosity of The Lion Foundation, we are able to provide these important tools for our counsellors. This will enable us to focus our limited resources to meet the growing demand for counselling services.”
Operating for over 20 years and one of the country’s most widely respected charitable trusts, The Lion Foundation is proud to support Relationship Services.
“Both The Lion Foundation and Relationship Services appreciate that healthy relationships contribute to healthy communities,” says The Lion Foundation Chief Executive Phil Holden.
“We are proud to support this worthy organisation and would like to acknowledge the important community service it provides.”
The Lion Foundation funds a wide range of arts, cultural, sporting, educational and health focused causes.  This approach has been in place for many years and is designed to ensure the charitable trust’s support reaches as many New Zealand communities as possible.
