It’s not only the competition that’s hotting up as we head toward Round 8 of  the Rebel Sport Super 14 Competition, with today’s launch of a unique interactive online game - ‘Jersey Swap’ developed by sponsor adidas.
A game for all to enjoy, but destined to find favor with New Zealand’s fairer fans, ‘Jersey Swap’  shows several of the competition’s favorite  players as they’ve never been seen before.
adidas marketing manager John Beckett says “Jersey Swap is a fun way for rugby to reach out to women and recognise their support of the Rebel Sport Super 14. It also acknowledges in a fun and vibrant way that for some of the population, there may be more to enjoy in a match than following the field of play.
“By going to www.jerseyswap.co.nz women can appreciate the finer points of some of our Rebel Sport Super 14 players. And of course admire our latest jersey designs.
“Online players can select two of their favourite rugby players and watch as they take off and swap their jerseys—the process can then be repeated with other players as many times as desired.”
To see what lies beneath go to www.jerseyswap.co.nz.
For fans that would like to see the real thing just go to a rugby game in your RSS14 jersey and you could be picked out of the crowd to swap it for a player’s jersey.
