‘Old Friends’ New Zealand and Australian tour kicks off in Auckland!

Auckland, New Zealand 3 April 2009 – Simon and Garfunkel are headed to Auckland for the first show of their much anticipated ‘Old Friends’ tour of New Zealand and Australia and local Visa debit, credit and prepaid cardholders can snap up advanced tickets.

Paul Simon and Art Garfunkel’s ‘Old Friends in Concert’ show will come to Auckland’s Vector Arena on Saturday 13 June 2009.

Advanced tickets for the New Zealand leg of the tour will be available exclusively to Visa debit, credit and prepaid cardholders from 12pm Monday 6 April to 5pm Wednesday 8 April or until 5pm tickets sell out at www.visaentertainment.co.nz.

Tickets will go on sale to the general public on Friday 17 April at 9am. Visa cardholders in New Zealand are eligible for free membership of Visa Entertainment, a cardholder benefit program providing access to special offers from some of the world’s major entertainment brands.

Cardholders can sign up to the program at www.visaentertainment.co.nz to access special offers instantly using their Visa credit, debit or prepaid card. No points or waiting periods are required for redemption and there are no membership costs.

The Simon and Garfunkel presale is the latest in a host of offerings from Visa Entertainment, including ticket presales for COLDPLAY, Westlife, Rock2WGTN, Bon Jovi, The Rolling Stones, Snow Patrol, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Elton John and INXS.
