Hence the day will open with a kapa haka performance from Houghton Bay School, followed by FREE dance workshops for children and young people in Irish, Samba, Jazz, Pre-school Creative Dance and Hip Hop dance styles. Plus FREE adult demo/have a go dance classes in Brazilian Forrro and Caperoeira, Cuban Fusion, Salsa and Swing.
A two hour FREE dance performance will occur in the marae (3-5pm) with over 17 Wellington regional dance groups performing.
