Tickets selling well

Tickets selling well

Tickets have been racing out of the door but, contrary to popular belief, there are still tickets left to many shows… This week we announced 2 new shows, both of which still have tickets:-

Strange Resting Places on Wednesday 29 April at 9pm at the Wanaka Masonic Lodge

Witches over Wanaka by Flat Out Productions, on Sunday 3 May at 6pm at the Wanaka Masonic Lodge

Also the very popular Dave Armstrong play Le Sud still has some tickets left for the Monday 4 May performance at 7pm in the Lake Wanaka Centre.

Raewyn Hill’s new dance work Finders Keepers still has some tickets left for both the Wanaka and Clyde shows, and the Mike Nock duets to be performed by Michael Houstoun and Diedre Irons still have some tickets left.

The New Zealand Army Band were a big hit at the 2007 Festival of Colour, and this year they are touring the local halls with a smaller dance band and will be accompanied by exotic Tango dancers. This is sure to be a toe tapping night out with opportunities to dance and learn the Tango. There are still tickets to catch up with this show in Tarras, Bannockburn and Clyde.
For tickets to see the Army Band or any of our other wonderful performances go to www.festivalofcolour/co.nz

Tickets to collect

If you have tickets to collect from the i-SITE in Wanaka then please head down there over the next few days to collect them, and remember to take the credit card you purchased the tickets with. Please check your tickets carefully as there can be no exchanges or refunds.

Office Move

Lindsey and Jo have moved into our ‘Festival headquarters’ in the Faulks Room at the Lake Wanaka Centre. We’ll be there from 9am – 5pm Monday to Friday up until the Festival.

Be inspired … Be astounded … Be in Wanaka … Be there.

The next Festival of Colour takes place on 28 April to 3 May 2009 and is generously supported by Central Lakes Trust, Community Trust of Otago, Creative New Zealand, Infinity Investment Group, Queenstown Lakes District Council and Aurora.
