Take part in Auckland Heritage Festival 2009
Auckland’s unique natural, built and social heritage will once again be the focus of celebration during the Auckland Heritage Festival, which runs from 19 September to 4 October.
The festival programme will feature numerous events and activities across Auckland city.
Applications are now open for local groups and organisations to submit their events for consideration in the 2009 programme.
A range of events were included in last year’s programme, from guided heritage walks and open days, to tours of historic sites, vintage fashion displays and heritage market days.
The Auckland City Council-organised festival aims to encourage Aucklanders to celebrate our city's heritage.
