From the class room to the board room…
True Jackson. V.P.
What would you do if you landed your dream job as a big shot at a major company…and you were only 15? How would you decorate your office? Who would you hire?
True Jackson. VP. is a comedy about a teenager in a grown-up world who learns that navigating high fashion is not that different from surviving high school. True Jackson gets the chance of a lifetime when she is hired by one of her idols, Max Madigan, and made VP of his fashion empire, Mad Style. The problem? Her new co-workers are not too thrilled to have a 15 year-old as their peer.
Amidst the sabotage attempts of her jealous coworkers, True quickly finds that the high-powered world of fashion and office politics is no different than high school, complete with bullies, cliques and crushes.
True is played by Keke Palmer, who has starred in Barbershop 2 with Queen Latifah, The Longshots opposite Ice Cube and The Cleaner with Sam Jackson and Eva Mendes. Her role in The Wool Cap led to Keke’s nomination for a Screen Actors Guild Award – making her the youngest actor ever to be nominated by the Guild in a Lead Actor category. Also starring in True Jackson. VP is Greg Proops of Whose Line Is It Anyway? fame as Max Madigan, top boss of Mad Style.
So tune into this international hit show on Nickelodeon NZ and see how the office really is just like high school...
True Jackson. VP premieres on Nickelodeon NZ (SKY Channel 41) at 5pm on Sunday 29th March & will screen every Sunday @ 5pm, with repeats Tuesdays at 5.50pm.
