A son goes to Italy to collect his father’s body following a car accident, only to discover a long-kept secret. For more than ten years his father has been having an affair with a British woman, who has died with her lover in the accident. That woman’s daughter is also in the country to claim the body, and a relationship between the off-spring ensues. Director Billy Wilder reunites with his friend and comic inspiration Jack Lemmon for this languorously-paced Mediterranean romantic comedy.

Tonight Tonight: Warrant of fitness talks to Otago University’s Dr Beverley Lawton (Ngati Porou), about HPV; the vaccine against cervical cancer now available free for girls aged 12 to 18.

One of Maori Television’s leading bilingual sports broadcasters Te Arahi Maipi goes head to head each week, discussing and debating the top sports stories with the experts. Fellow sports broadcaster Melodie Robinson is the co-host, while Stacey Jones and Wayne ‘Buck’ Shelford are the guest presenters. NZ Netball stars Joline Henry and Temepara George report from the field.

The Kareko whanau has sent more family members into the armed forces than anyone since the renowned Maori Battalion of World Wars I and II. All seven family members from the sleepy Northland township of Kaeo have served in the New Zealand military as United Nations peacekeepers in battle-scarred East Timor.
