Air New Zealand Kids @ Christmas Auction Tops $400,000
More than $409,000 has been raised from the Air New Zealand Kids @ Christmas Charity Auction which finished last evening.
The money will be distributed between Make-A-Wish Foundation and Kids restore New Zealand.
The highest bid was $26,510 for two months unlimited Business Premier travel. Some of the “money can’t buy” items went for high amounts including $18,010 for a trip for two to London and dinner at Providores Restaurant in London, $6,766 for travel for two to London to have lunch with Sean Fitzpatrick and $6,999 for flights and tickets to the Karen Walker Fashion Show in New York.
An unusual airplane-shaped paper clip went for $1,001 to a bidder from Matamata.
All the travel items for the auction were donated by Air New Zealand. The sella website partnered with Air New Zealand to provide the auction site.
