120 Lucky Big Wednesday Players Win $43,994 Christmas Bonus
A luxury Big Wednesday First Division package worth over $5 million has been won in the ‘Must Be Won’ draw by 120 lucky
players from all around the country – and the ultimate lifestyle prize package is about to change – and be better than
ever, says NZ Lotteries’ Chief Executive, Todd McLeay.
120 Third Division players have each won a $43,994 share of the massive prize package on offer after First and Second
Division weren’t struck, and their prize pools were added to that of the next highest prize division where there were
winners. The locations for these Third Division winners will be posted on the NZ Lotteries’ website www.mylotto.co.nz on
the afternoon of Thursday 27 November.
“We called the ‘Must Be Won’ draw to enable some exciting changes to be launched for Big Wednesday. The luxury prize
package line up is to have a makeover – with the introduction of exciting new prizes, alongside a fresh and funny
advertising campaign,” Mr McLeay says.
Next week’s Big Wednesday line up will include the initial $2 million in cash, but the luxury cars on offer will be a
fabulous Audi R8 and a Porsche Cayenne. A Four Winns V258 will be the new boat added to the prize package. There will be
an increased $750,000 cash prize contribution to a bach, and the $250,000 American Express Platinum cῡrd and a $250,000
cash prize towards luxury travel will still be on offer, but the cash escalation stage will occur a week earlier in
future draws.
As there was more than one big winner for this ‘Must Be Won’ draw, the luxury First Division line up of the cash, cars,
boat, travel, the Amex and holiday and apartment packages is being offered as the equivalent cash prize, in order to
enable the prize to be equally shared amongst the 120 winners.
Tonight’s other winner was a lucky Hamilton player who has won a luxury Lexus car in Big Wednesday’s Second Chance draw.
The winning ticket was sold at Hamilton East Stationery & Lotto. The serial number is 181-40829697-13xx.
Mr McLeay’s advice for all of this week’s Big Wednesday winners is to write their name and address on their ticket as
soon as possible, confirming ownership.
“Anyone who bought a ticket at any of the winning retailers should check it immediately," says Mr McLeay.
