TV3 To Produce And Screen New Zealand’s Next Top Model

TV3 has confirmed it will produce a local version of the highly successful AMERICA’S NEXT TOP MODEL®, to screen in 2009.

NEW ZEALAND’S NEXT TOP MODEL will conduct a nationwide search for the 13 young women who will take part in the series. The show will follow the group as they compete in modelling assignments and challenges to prove they have what it takes to make it in the high-stress, high-stakes world of modelling.

The successful series is produced locally in 17 markets, including Australia and Britain, and it has launched the modelling, television and acting careers of many of its contestants.

Kelly Martin, TV3’s Director of Programming comments, “Top Model is a hugely successful format around the world and we’re delighted to be able to bring New Zealand audiences their own version of the show.”

Details about applications, auditions and show information will be made available on the TV3 website, www.tv3.co.nz in the coming weeks.

Produced by and exclusive to TV3, the show is based on the hit US series AMERICA’S NEXT TOP MODEL.
NEW ZEALAND’S NEXT TOP MODEL is a format of AMERICA’S NEXT TOP MODEL, which is produced by 10x10 Entertainment and Bankable Productions. Executive Producers are Tyra Banks, Ken Mok and Daniel Soiseth. The dramality series was created by Tyra Banks and developed by Mok and Kenya Barris.
