Weltec Centre For Creative Technologies Exhibition

Thistle Hall is a vibrant community centre in the heart of New Zealand's cultural capital. We provide a community hall, meeting room and Wellington's only community gallery showcasing a range of artists and crafts people, from the established to the emerging. Thistle Hall is located one the corner of Cuba and Arthur streets. The shows on at Thistle Hall Community Gallery are run by the artists who hire it.

WelTec's Centre for Creative Technologies is pleased to showcase thirteen of its fresh talent who are graduating with a Bachelor in Visual Arts from their new central city campus. The exhibition includes a range of interdisciplinary work and are to be shown over three venues: Toi Poneke Gallery and Roar Gallery from the 4 - 15 November, and Thistle Hall Gallery from the 10 - 15 November. The Thistle Hall exhibition will feature the painters in the group.

Then open daily 10.30am - 5.30pm.

An exhibition of new paintings and drawings by this mature artist. Paintings are very vibrant, semi-abstract works in acrylics and oils. Complimented by pencil or pen and ink life sketches and inner city drawings showing the juxtaposition of old and new.
