Weet-Bix Stat Attack Ii Cards To Be Auctioned On Trade Me
Kiwi kids will be the recipients of proceeds generated from the eagerly-awaited auction of a framed 44 piece set of Weet-Bix All Black Stat Attack II cards, autographed by the players themselves, which goes on sale next Monday, 13 October.
The charity auction will benefit KidsCan, the official charity of the All Blacks. KidsCan1 is a charitable trust, which operates on a national basis, dedicated to helping look after children in our own backyard by providing a level playing field on which they can reach their full potential.
Along with the autographed cards themselves, Weet-Bix and the All Blacks have gone all out this year to add a ‘money can’t buy’ experience, which includes breakfast with the All Blacks themselves in Auckland on Monday 27 October. Travel within New Zealand to Auckland for the lucky winner as well as accommodation and dinner the night prior are included in the prize.
Tanne Andrews, Sanitarium’s Weet-Bix senior brand manager said last year’s auction of the Weet-Bix Stat Attack cards was a resounding success.
“We’re extremely proud of our ten year sponsorship of the All Blacks, and the framed and signed set of Weet-Bix Stat Attack II cards is a wonderful collector’s item or dream gift for any All Black fan.
Not only are the cards a fantastic commemoration of the 2008 All Black squad, the chance to travel to Auckland and have breakfast with the All Blacks is really exciting,” says Tanne.

New Zealand Rugby Union commercial manager Paul Dalton said the online auction of the signed Weet-Bix Stat Attack II cards was a fantastic opportunity to help New Zealand children in need.
“KidsCan does a wonderful job so I encourage as many people to get online and bid for what is a very cool prize – an autographed set of the cards and have breakfast with the team,” says Dalton.
