The Hawkes Bay Rugby Union in partnership with Heaven’s Bakery and Maraenui Urban Renewal Trust have given the opportunity for 200 Maraenui children and caregivers to come to the Hawkes Bay Magpies v Bay of Plenty game tonight and receive a Heaven’s Bakery Mag-pie.
MURT have distributed the tickets out to the community through the Maraenui children holiday programmes and the Maraenui Sports Club.
MURT Chairman Harry Findlay said; “it’s great to get the children to the game and enjoy a night out at the rugby whom would normally not have the opportunity to go. We thank the Rugby Union and Heaven’s Bakery for putting this altogether for the local community”.
The two hundred kids will be cheering on the Magpies boys from the new temporary stand thanks to Hawkes Bay Rugby Union and fuelled by Heaven’s Bakery Mag-pies.
