Designer Selection tickets almost sold out!

Tickets to the ever popular Designer Selection shows have sold so fast this year that Air New Zealand Fashion Week organisers are scheduling an additional fifth show for the week. The new show will fall at 3.30pm on the Sunday of Fashion WEEKEND.

“We’ve never experienced such fast ticket sales for the Designer Selection shows, or for Fashion WEEKEND. Its encouraging that the general public is taking such a great interest in Air New Zealand Fashion Week and we hope that by scheduling an extra show that many more people will be able to experience a taste of New Zealand’s fashion at its best,” says Myken Stewart, Brand and Sponsorship Manager.

The Designer Selection Show is the biggest show of Air New Zealand Fashion Week with an impressive display of lights, music and atmosphere that makes for a spectacular and crowd pleasing show. Each Designer shows their favorite pieces from their new Spring/Summer range and a preview outfit from their Autumn/Winter 2009 range. Plus every guest in attendance of a Designer Selection show receives a fabulous goodie bag packed full of treats, worth more than the value of their $60 ticket.

“This has been a record year for us. The first two shows during the week have almost completely sold out and the weekend shows are more than 75% sold already. This is an exciting result for our Fashion Week designers,” she says.
